Now i know the Getz has the safety feature ( Like most manual cars ) where unless the clutch is fully engaged it will not start. Sometime's it can take 5-10 min of ignition on/off clutch in/out to get it to turn over. Once it does, it starts fine, there is no battery issues or starter motor problems.
My Getz has run 56000 kms and has really been no trouble. Check your air flaps, check the gas, clean the fins (esp if long usage in very dusty conditions) and lastly, take it to another private a/c expert for a second opinion. SOme of the Hyundai techs are pitifully low on diagnostic skills.
