It’s highly likely that the coolant level is low, and it’s the easiest thing to check, so start there. Mixing different screenwashes ends up creating gunk which eventually blocks the entry to the pump. My only remedy was to drop the wheel arch liner, remove the pump from the reservoir and manually remove the build up.

#1 · Nov 26, 2021 Has anyone had a problem that their infotainment screen sometimes turns itself off whilst driving? Any music playing stays on but the whole screen goes black then it's as if it resets itself then comes back on as normal displaying the Ford badge etc. If putting it in reverse the camera doesn't come on either.

I think if it drops about 10% it will bring the light on. I don't have any codes for the tpms. There are some listed on forscan but they are for the 4.2" screen and not for sync 2. Does it not give a code if the tpms is faulty. It has been a legal requirement since 2014 I think so I would not be wanting to disable it. @andspenka - any thoughts.

unplug the connectors and give the pins a shot of wd40,after that you would probably need to bench test the stereo. Done using electrical switch cleaner but still not working. As I said above, the radio is actually working in that it gives a micro sound from three speakers and the ;LED display operates correctly.

If it's not, there may be a failure with the smart power generator or the battery. If you go to someone who sells batteries, they will test the generator and the battery. Probably the battery is not efficient enough to keep the level of charge in the power on and the power steering gets disabled.
there is a known issue with DAB signal being interrupted by interference from some 12v charger plug in adapters. My wife’s VW Sharan has hard wired dashcams front and rear and no issues with DAB, but if we plug a phone charger in the DAB signal drops in and out and make it impossible to listen to. Quote.
