Yes, for cars fitted with navigation and rear camera the small screen display needs to be a colour one. @MaoVi did you sell your colour screen. 2015 Kuga Titanium 2.0 150 Manual, Black, 18" Wheels, Appearance Pack, Detachable Towbar with Ford Dedicated Electrics, Retro Fitted Sync3 with 3.4 software, F12 maps.
#1 · Nov 26, 2021 Has anyone had a problem that their infotainment screen sometimes turns itself off whilst driving? Any music playing stays on but the whole screen goes black then it's as if it resets itself then comes back on as normal displaying the Ford badge etc. If putting it in reverse the camera doesn't come on either.
I think if it drops about 10% it will bring the light on. I don't have any codes for the tpms. There are some listed on forscan but they are for the 4.2" screen and not for sync 2. Does it not give a code if the tpms is faulty. It has been a legal requirement since 2014 I think so I would not be wanting to disable it. @andspenka - any thoughts.
unplug the connectors and give the pins a shot of wd40,after that you would probably need to bench test the stereo. Done using electrical switch cleaner but still not working. As I said above, the radio is actually working in that it gives a micro sound from three speakers and the ;LED display operates correctly.
